Value Reconciliation Report - A solution to help lenders
combat potential misrepresentation in the valuation of a property. Our licensed,
certified appraisers or real estate professionals review the original appraisal
then obtain and analyze multiple property valuations (public and private) on the
subject property. They render an opinion as to which value is the most reliable
and include comparable sales data and appraisal methodology.
PMI Release
Our PMI Release Department focuses on providing our clients with specialized outsourcing
options for their borrowers’ PMI Removal needs. CoreLogic’s PMI Department offers
lenders a cost-effective, outsourced alternative to maintaining a costly in-house
staff dedicated to managing the valuation ordering process. Benefits also include
specialized counseling to discuss lenders’ PMI removal requirements and the appraisal
process, and to further comply with HOPA 1998 valuation needs and current OCC guidelines.
During counseling, our representatives can offer initial valuation products such
as AVM’s (automated valuation models) to assist borrowers in their decision to proceed,
obtaining direct pre-payment, and appraisal delivery to both lenders and borrowers.
